I see that Gibb’s penalties have been greatly reduced per NASCAR news and that’s certainly understandable after the heavy-handed judgement. Getting outa dodge this afternoon for a trip to Ashland and Harry & David’s. That $262,000 of Krugerrand’s missing from that ladies backyard still hasn’t been found.... First road trip for the 335i convertible w/ mid-80’s forecasted. Peas and pergola are up, the top will be down. Life is good.
It has been snowing for about 3 days here. Don’t have a convertable cause it would fill with snow. My new car may be bobbing on a boat crossing the pond about now.

We got close to 0.3” rain in about an hour today.
Crater Lake’s road around the rim is being cleared one month early as C.L. only got 350” of snow instead of the normal 550”.
Got my first ticket in 27 years yesterday. 76 in a 55. I’m lucky. That car whispers at 90.
OH, ouch! exceeding pit road speed there! Will try to get over Trail Ridge again this year. Went a few years ago, the snow was still 10 feet deep on the sides of the road.

One moment you are going 50, the next moment 90. ‘twas my fault of course; apparently I can do an on-line course and not pay the fine since I haven’t had a ticket for so long. High 80’s in Ashland w/ cool breeze. Had breakfast in my favorite town (Jacksonville) this morning.

my granddad died at 96....drove til 93 and he never once in his life was even stopped by police or was never in an accident....if there were only 2 cars in America and the speed limit was 55,,,he drove 54 mph
I only have excuses; as my son said I drive the car, the car doesn’t drive me. The 335i BMW is a beautiful car and a touch on the gas finds you doing 80 when the moment before you were doing 50. It’s a twin-turbo 300HP engine w/a top speed of 155MPH w/the limiter. I got the ticket on a remote 30 mile straight stretch (emphasis on “straight” and “remote”) and the speed limit was 55MPH. He locked me in a 76 - I could have been going 100 just as easily. Funny thing is that before we left on our trip I read my wife a story about a guy on a motorcycle was was caught on radar doing 130 MPH on that same stretch two days before.
