To: potlatch

Not that long ago I toyed with brushing up on old English but I’m happy without it at this time.

About 25 years ago I bought an old book of his poems in Salisbury, UK. Put it away and forgot about it. Wasn’t in ghreat shap when I got it; I should take it out and have a look.

Get your book out and enjoy it.
We studied Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales in highschool too. The only thing I always remember is;

Whan that aprill with his shoures soote
The droghte of march hath perced to the roote,
And bathed every veyne in swich licour
Of which vertu engendred is the flour;

Being immersed in politics every day can cause mental distress so I mostly read my Mystery books as a ‘get away’.
