“Overall, the Justice Department report said, firearm-related homicides dropped from 18,253 homicides in 1993 to 11,101 in 2011”..

Consider these stats while keeping in mind the number of guns in the population in 1993 was far, far less - probably a good 20-30 million less, than there were in 2011, and even more now.

It destroys the argument that more guns in the hands of people result in more gun deaths. It destroys the argument that it makes people less safe to own a gun.

Gun deaths decreasing steadily for 20 years, with 20-30 million more guns bought during these times, is proof more guns do not equal more gun violence/gun death.

Further all the states during these 20 years who have passed concealed carry, there have been NO wild west stories, the CCW holders have not gone crazy and shot up everyone in sight. There is NOTHING truthful at all about the objections and supposed scare theories the left bleats everytime they can get in front of a camera.

Here’s an interesting report:

http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/rsd/chl/reports/convrates.htm

Concealed carry holders are involved in approximately 0.09 percent. That’s 0.0009 or 9 in 10,000. Hard Data
