And now Apple begins to struggle with companies like Samsung. I guess it’s all to be blamed on the “destructive” forces at FoxNews. Apple will not succeed as long it is more concerned with its societal image than the quality of its products in a very competitive world. A typically self-destructive, “enlightened” mentality of the leftist Westerner, or a capitalist like Steve Jobs who forgets what delivered him to his current success.

It’s what happened to Kodak. The reversion to the mean. Once Jobs died, and once Gate’s sweet deal with the Windows monopoly went away, market forces snapped back.

Samsung is just going to quietly and continuously destroy market share through relentless improvement and cost control.

That’s what happens when product excellence type value discipline companies lose their way.

Apple, like MSFT, is sitting on giant gobs of dough, but so was Kodak.
