Rush Limbaugh may leave Cumulus
Politico ^ | 5/5/13 8:42 PM EDT | DYLAN BYERS

The Rush Limbaugh Program is considering ending its affiliation agreement with Cumulus Media at the end of this year, a move that would bring about one of the biggest shakeups in talk radio history, a source close to the show tells POLITICO.

Should the move take place, 40 Cumulus-owned radio stations would lose the rights to the most popular talk radio program in the country. In addition, the show might be picked up by competing regional radio stations in Washington, New York, Chicago, Dallas and other major markets.

According to the source, Limbaugh is considering the move because Cumulus CEO Lew Dickey has blamed the company's advertising losses on Limbaugh's controversial remarks about Sandra Fluke, the Georgetown law student. In Feb. 2012, Limbaugh referred to Fluke as "a slut" because she had called on congress to mandate insurance coverage of birth control. The subsequent controversy over those remarks resulted in a significant advertising boycott.

LoL!!

Rush’s show seems to be over in a hour.
Hannity’s seems like it is 6 hours long and then he wants me to tune in to the TV show?

No thanks.

It is pure tedium.

Nobody cares if Fluke is a slut, but she sure was no saint.
The wider issue was Gov dictating church doctrine with taxpayer money.

It was wrong, wrong!

Any advertiser that did not get the gist of the problem can kiss my arse.

“Pro Flowers and Shari’s Berries are same company” Funny, both Pro Flowers and Sherri’s berries have been advertising like crazy during the Rush show via the local station. While Rush does not do the personal promo they seem to be very eager to use his show to advertise the local spots.

This is wishful thinking from the politico commies. Cumulus will soon have a new president.

Seems the future of Cumulus is clouding up, due to stormy relationship with Rush....

One of my biggest Hannity gripes is his constant use of
lists......on every topic. Usually it is the same old, tired
lists. Other than that his inability to argue beyond the
first level of a debate shows him to be a shallow
simpleton.

The day before yesterday I received a postcard from Pro-Flowers asking me to “COME BACK WE MISS YOU.”
Used to use them a lot.

F-OFF Pro.

Look for either WOR AM or WCBS AM in NYC to take Rush in. Count on it.

OMG. I cannot stand Hannity talking to all these people, filling the show with utter BS. Most are black liberals that he sucks up to; he makes a fool of himself.

He interrupts ALOT as well and has a very difficult time throwing a republican under the bus, like Rubio.

Your: "The wider issue was Gov dictating church doctrine with taxpayer money.

It was wrong, wrong!"

Indeed! And the even wider issue was forcing insurance companies to fund the slut's carnal desires. That would have imposed an unfunded mandate both on church and on The People.

Washington is out of control and being cheered on by an MSM without moral restraint.
