Perhaps the author of the article should research the distance between Tripoli and Benghazi.

http://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=Tripoli,+Libya&daddr=Benghazi,+Libya&hl=en&ll=31.54109,16.743164&spn=29.601326,39.331055&sll=37.6,-95.665&sspn=54.448855,78.662109&geocode=FY6m9QEdsznJACnZQxzBxJKoEzGG7Fx7lNiZjQ%3BFbsP6gEdazEyASkr7p5HVRyDEzHgk9J2zt-X5A&mra=ls&t=m&z=5

Apparently 12 hours.... By Ground in a car....

I would assume less than 1 and a half hours at MOST by air...

201 hours if you walked... (one week one and half days)...

Did we walk to Benghazi??????

How long would it take to have two of our fighter jets at just mach 1 from any close coordants to do a fly by at close quarters just to disrupt the attack followed by attack! If you were to straffe the street heads would have turned! Thus giving time for the deployment of further assets.
International incident does not apply here. We already bombed the crap out of Lybia for the same stinkin rebels that killed our Ambassador.
When Our personell are in harms way we don’t or I wouldn’t question Airspace or anyspace! Just go Kick ass and save lives and deal with it later and Kick their ass too if they had a problem with Airspace violation!
