NEW YORK Faced with hefty operating costs, the foundation building the 9/11 museum at the World Trade Center has decided to charge an admission fee of $20 to $25 when the site opens next year.

I am pretty sure $25 bucks a pop will slow down the crowds.
That’s a hundred bucks for a couple with 2 kids.
And no Space Mountain.
Admission should be on a donation basis, minimum $4.00. There is no justification for a $20 to $25 fee.
They will find a way to let Muslims in for free.
Way too much to charge anyone for entrance to this museum. Also, not in the spirit of those who died that day, or who continue to die from its effects.
Let Bloomturd pay for it instead of interfering with everyone’s life and right to protect it.
Maybe as a compromise they’ll charge $9.11 with a fee waiver for Madrassah and Mosque field trips.
That bill/charge has already been paid in full. You political class bastards- if you cry for one hundred years on your knees- you will still be 100%, short of the fee due.
“I hope nobody ever shows up at that place. Its a travesty. Ive gotta say, New York is dead to me. In my youth it was the center of the world.”
Then they’ll do what other places that draw anyone do: Set up school trips there, and squeeze the parents for the money. Living just over 10 miles west of NYC, I hear you about what it was and what it is now. Haven’t been there for years, and the wife and kids haven’t, either. Give it back to Holland...
“They need the fee so they can pay someone to collect the fee.”
The Garden State Parkway nearby in NJ worked that way; originally tolls were to pay off the bond issue (1952), now they’re collected to pay the toll collectors. Workfare/make-work...
LMAO-collected by the toll collectors to pay the toll collectors. OMG, that makes so much sense nowadays. :-) Literally, highway robbery.
“collected by the toll collectors to pay the toll collectors.”
It really is a disgrace; they’re slowly reducing the numbers of them, but they have become an entity unto themselves. Because we’re living in a dying state here in NJ, a lot of artificial industries (teachers, cops, etc.) are seeing their numbers fall due to layoffs - there is simply no money left.
