Even if the rescue force couldn’t make it in time they should have been in the air anyway. When there’s a fire the fire department responds. They don’t decide to stay in the station because they think the house will probably be gone before they can get there.

Oh we had assets and these two guys were relieved of duty because they did not want to stand down and let our people die during the attack .
