Why do you not see that the GOPe is the party now? ALL of it top to bottom/side to side? There is no Reagan in it anymore. Anywhere. I do not understand.

The GOP-e can attract, at most, 15% of the Republican vote in primaries with several candidates. They know that.

That doesn't mean the other 85% are Conservatives, but it does mean the major party factions are OUTSIDE the GOP-e.

The big money guys can continue throwing their money away with those guys ~ after all most of them grew up as Democrats ~ or they can decide they'd like a good tax policy rather than the GOP-e 'me too-ism'.

The major complaint of Conservatives is simply that the RNC is made up of people who do not share any of their core values. The Conservatives, however, are numerous enough to start their own competing RNC and pull the party together by simply abandoning the old RNC ~ which will still get some states supporting it, but those are the states we'll need do some missionary work on later ~ we don't need their delegates at this time.

This is very nearly how the Republican party was founded in the beginning. The founders formed a committee for the purpose of nominating a candidate for President. They invited remaining viable Whig state parties and strong Abolitionist organizations to send delegates to a convention.

I wish people would read this some day. The Republicans did not create a top down or bottom up party ~ they simply formed the RNC!

It's absurdly simple, but there's the key to dealing with what is presently a serious party split that's going to cause us to lose elections for the next decade ~ part of the party wants to continue going after voters who aren't there ~ an undecided middle ~ the rest of the party wants us to take the battle to the enemy by telling the public how bad they are, and at the same time, by mounting massive voter registration drives ~ and that's only going to happen as state and local Republican party elements INCORPORATE Socon and Fiscon groups directly into the party structure.

Just doing some checking on the history of Catholic political parties in Europe and the US. They've been either full bore parties, or major factions as in the United States.

The leftwingtard faction that currently runs the Democrat party pretty much disabled them by abandoning support for private sector labor unions. Some of them have become far more conservative in Europe, but there's a mixed result ~ one such party in Nederland seems to have been absorbed by the Commies. No idea how that happened!

We face a similar 'take over' problem in the US where people with no interest in the welfare and well being of the American people have taken over both major parties. We need to fight back ~
