You are missing the point here. First of we have, just within the Republican and Democrat umbrellas, well over 100 independent political parties.

They can function even without a RNC or a DNC. We have a number of other 'wannabe' parties that are too small to win elections ~ but they do hold conventions, know how that sort of thing works, and otherwise many of them engage in regular Republican or Democrat party machinery events.

The only thing we need to discard are STATES that don't give us the votes we need to win ~ you toss them and their RNC delegates on the street.

You can do this clean and simple with a decapitation ~ you first create a new RNC, invite delegates from state parties you want, and don't let the other guys in. You can prohibit individuals who are dangerous to winning ~ e.g. most of the McCain campaign professions, and all of Romneys.

That's pretty much how the Republican party got its start on the ruins of the Whigs ~ and the reality of the Abolitionists.

You are missing the problem. A decap leaves the core elements of the gop fighting you from day 1. 2 3 4 5 6 7 89012345678 until they sabotage you completely or you hit year 4 and lose the reelection.

And you still have to explain how 300,000,000 be reprogrammed from decades of “Republicans hate XXXX people.

A palin type exists in which of the 100 current indy parties? What do you think happens if someone who can drive a 5 day news cycle with a single facebook post decides to create one of her own?

I mean AFTER half the GOP changes their voter registration cards day 1.
