LEXINGTON, S.C. (CN) - A South Carolina city discriminated against a transgender public safety employee by making him use a woman's bulletproof vest after he had gender reassignment surgery, he claims in court. Marion Gregory Green fka Maria Gisell Green sued the City of Cayce in Lexington County Court. Cayce, pop. 13,000, is the seat of Lexington County. It is the only defendant in the complaint. Green went to work as for the city as a public safety officer trainee in July 2006. During the next five years, while "presenting" as a woman, Green worked in law enforcement, fire suppression, victim's assistance and animal control, he says in the complaint. In February 2011, he says, he informed his supervisors, including Sgt. David Hoffman, and his fellow officers of his decision to have gender reassignment surgery and to live as a man.

The states have never exercised their unique, constitutional Article V power to ratify proposed amendments to the Constitution, power which the federal government does not have, to make gender identity a constitutionally protected right.

It is “disfigurement” surgery. No person can change a she to a he.

Mutilating a healthy body will not cure mental illness.

Affirmatively participating in another person's delusion will not cure their mental illness.

If being ‘forced’ to wear a womans bullet proof vest is the ONLY thing this guy(??) has to face, IT will have a good run.
Guess we can go back to the 50’s where a hand me down or used bike may not have a crossbar - immediately deeming it a GIRLS BIKE.
Guess now they can go back and sue all the people that ‘teased’ them for riding a ‘girls bike’ AND the parents that gave it to them.

Why were ‘we’ so sheltered and uninformed ‘back in the day’.

The Navy used to issue patch pocket dungarees that had a flare to the legs (bell bottomed) that were sharp looking.
Into the 60’s they started replacing them with the drab, straight legged slit pocket dungarees - WHICH had been exclusively been for the WAVES.

Now, the ‘girly dungarees’ were being issued to all.
That sure made the patch pocket dungarees worth their weight in gold...

OH YEAH, we were NOT able to sue....<: <:

I like the bell-bottom dungarees with the patch-pocket the sailors wore in the WWII era. My grandfather wore those.

He still has his dog tags and I.D. card after all these years.
