I grew up in San Diego. I remember when I was a little girl, Cinco de Mayo was a tiny holiday, celebrated in Old Town, by a few Mexicans, and I mean a very few...maybe fifty. All of those people were dressed in Mexican clothing. Look how it’s grown!
