The morning low is the lowest temperature ever recorded in Longmont during the month of May, according to Times-Call weather consultant Dave Larison. Previously, the lowest reading for the month was 18 degrees, set on May 1, 1989, and May 5, 1917.

Global warming has finally arrived. Just wish we'd get some more of it here right now. Mind you, I'm not complaining about all the snow here in the last five weeks. We desperately needed it. Looks like my part of Colorado is going to dodge a drought this year, though the SE corner is still screwed.

This cold weather has been annoying. We should be in rain but we keep getting snow.

It’s weather like this that made the global warming moon bats change global warming to “climate change”. They can’t go wrong with climate change, no matter what. Unless of course, the weather stays exactly the same all the time, then they’ll have to come up with something new.

“Longmont just sucks in so many ways.”

I like Longmont better than Boulder.

Me too. Boulder really sucks. Longmont is 10 times larger than it was when I was a kid there.

The other time it was so cold was in 1975 when the Big Thompson River flooded killing around 150 people.

You were replaced by a couple dozen Califoricians. I only got about 35 miles away form Longmont.

NW Arkansas had three inches this morning.

Back in 1972, we had 105 degrees on May 5!

I read that the Spanish soldiers got caught in a deep snow storm on their way to Taos Pueblo back in the 1600s. That was in mid June.

I used to have a news report from about the late 1880s that Clayton NM had a blizzard hit it that shut down everything, in AUGUST!

I have kept record of historical highs for L.A.,CA civic center for a few years — here are just a few of them. How many jets at airports- how many trucks clogging roadways- what was the population back then?
