Let’s give David Stern the benefit of his clout. This week, when he and Commissioner-in-waiting Adam Silver, in a released statement, provided Jason Collins their support and approval as an “exemplary member of the NBA family,” they might have come at it through a different door.
They might have instead released the following:
“You’re kidding, right? How could we possibly have the audacity to pass judgment on Collins’ decision to reveal that he’s gay — to offer our official position and blessings on his lifestyle — when the league indulges, suffers and excuses just about every act in The Big Book of Bad?

The only people I EVER heard talking about sex at a workplace is the queers who call each other “bitches” (guys) and talk about vulgar sex practices and rude jokes about anus's.

I think he is a hell of a chess player. He just got thru with a 6 year hetero relationship with a gal, he is a 36 yr. old player obviously long in the tooth, he is a bench warmer who only played in 6 games last year and his scoring average is 1.1 points per game. Now this dude comes out of the closet and do you think he would get fired or traded by any team in the NBA? Heck, he just extended his contract as long as he needs a paycheck.

The NBA is the sports league that has players that have multiple children by multiple women. That have players that are entitled to rape women and never see any jail time.

Other than him saying it, how do we know he is...or anyone is, gay. He has an identical twin who is hetero and twins are clones. Proves gay-ness isn’t inherited, I’d say.
You know people don’t have enough to do when the biggest story in their lives right now is which gender person a low tier basketball player likes to boink when he’s not throwing a ball through a metal hoop for a living.
