The power of Congress to exclude aliens altogether from the United States, or to prescribe the terms and conditions upon which they may come to this country, and to have its declared policy in that regard enforced exclusively through executive officers, without judicial intervention, is settled by our previous adjudications.

Which is a totally true and comprehensive statement....BUT

This is where everyone - government, law enforcement, individuals..even die hard Constitutionalists trip over their own feet!

You cannot Constitutionally ban someone because of their religion, PERIOD! The Constitution protects religion, so you cannot use it for a Constitutional basis of rejection.

The only true method to use while staying true to the Constitution is to ban immigration from those other nations that have over a certain percentage claiming muslim/islam AS their religion.

As a nation, the United States can only legislate against other nations. Its the way the Constitutional was written and certain immutable, absolute Laws were understood by the Founders.

No matter how abhorrent WE believe someone else's religion to be, it IS their religion, and their inherent natural Right to believe in it just as EVERY individual has that Right.

-----

This slippery slope of any governments supposed authority to legislate against abstract ideas is exactly what is destroying us, IMHO. When one has been around long enough to notice the never-ending succession of War(s) on the abstract roll by, the pattern becomes obvious.

The War against Proverty gave us the redistribution of wealth. The War on Drugs gave us a plethora of laws against personal freedom, privacy and general Liberty. The War on terror now has granny being searched in her private parts while bombing are being carried out by people who were here even after their own home country warned us against them!

[Hel-LO! Is there even anybody IN Washington, D.C. anymore?]

While your argument is well-stated, it’s also flawed in one key area:

‘Freedom of Religion’ does not apply to those faiths whose tenets allow them to harm others as part of their beliefs (i.e. human sacrifices, and in most cases, animal sacrifices).

Islam directly states in both the Koran and in many Hadith the fact that non-believers are to be killed or enslaved.

Any person with a shred of intelligence should be able to see that the religion of Islam is detrimental to a civilized, free society. It has NO place in the United States of America. Other countries can make up their own minds about it, but our Constitution cannot be construed to give protection to the wickedness of Islam. All it takes is someone with the balls (and the financial backing) to take it to task. And for the people of the nation to speak out against it.

Unfortunately, I don’t believe either of those ideas can or will happen.

Islam is NOT a religion; it is a totalitarian political ideology MASKING as a religion in order to hide behind our First Amendment while conquering our country.

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. Revelation 20:4

Who is known for beheading their enemies? Hmmm?
