The coach should have known the rules and made sure his team knew them. If they didn't know it's their own fault. If the child was just caught up in the moment, it's still a rule violation. Doesn’t matter if he was pointing at “God” or the Goodyear blimp.

some so called "rules" go so much against human nature that its impossible to follow them...

a young kid....running in an exciting race....he brings his team to win the race....and we expect the human mind, the human body to remember NOT to be happy?????
