The pay is above minimum wage but that doesn't seem to factor in to their thinking

Yep. So I'm watching the news last night about the May Day demonstration in Oakland, Calif. Reporter interviewing the not-so-bright demonstrators, about their demonstrating for raising minimum wages to $15 an hour.

"Burgers are like $6 to $8 and that's almost an hour's labor, and the food isn't much. So we need $15 an hour to make things right.". Idiots don't realize the minimum wage burger flippers would cause the proprietor to double costs of a burger to $14 each or more if minimum wage doubled. Their thinking is so naive. You want more money, then work hard and gain experience to earn more.

What I find so infuriating is this sense of entitlment. These morons fail to grasp that even if you're the best damn burger flipper on earth, the work you're doing is still only worth 2 or 3 bucks an hour. Even if you can shovel shit with the best of them, you're still not doing anything that requires a modicum of skill.

I'd say minimum wage is too high. They should be damn thankful they can fleece somebody 8 bucks an hour to wash toilets. But are they? No, they want MORE MORE MORE without doing a damn thing to make themselves worth more. Useless, ignorant weaklings. Their thinking goes beyond mere naivety -- it branches pretty far into straight up greed.
