I have a son, graduated from Purdue, worked summers for the Parks Department hauling mulch in 110 degree heat. When he graduated, he was only able to get a job putting tires on cars, so that’s what he did for nine months. He didn’t sit around whining, he got to work. That got him a job as warehouse shipping manager at a large plumbing/heating/cooling supply company. He’s at work at 8:00 a.m. and sometimes doesn’t leave until after 8:00 p.m. Did I mention that he likes his job, his co-workers and his boss? Well, he does.

Not all of the young people today are worthless. But, I see where the article is coming from.

I’d be darn proud of that young man and I’m sure you are!! I do see many young people who don’t get it too. Neither did their parents. Sad.
