Interesting figures on STEM employment (and unemployment). It shows that if a person is willing to do the work to get a technical degree there is a generally a significant reward for their hard work. Which is simply another racist, Republican attack on a black man in the White House.
You can find a Freeper to object to any policy that might be perceived as threatening his subsidy or protected gravy train of any sort, but there are a good number who object to bringing in high-skilled workers for IT—exactly, IMO, the immigrants we want and need. (Need to give them some political philosophy detox classes before making them citizens, however.)
I get the feeling this guy is doing some whining and crying on behalf of the big companies who want foreign workers to take $5 an hour for 80 hour weeks. None of these articles ever give specific job openings.
just more liberal propaganda to flood us with 3rd world people which can become democrat voters
Depends on the field.
Most companies don’t want to pay. I have had a number of head hunters looking for jobs with “better” titles than I have now, with the posted high end of the salary 20% than I make now.
They are looking to meet a requirement to get a H1B in.
Talk to a STEM worker over 40. COMPLETELY different story.
