I went to a state school in northern NJ 20 years ago; because it was in Newark these types avoided it (too many black people around). Occasionally some hippie would show up with a loudspeaker trying to rally interest in some cause or other, but nobody paid them any mind. The students were there for school (those that weren’t went to a different campus), and afterwards most headed to a job. I couldn’t imagine going to a school where these freaks dominated.
