The Taliban destroyed all those Buddha reliefs in Afghanistan when they took over. Coincidence?

I live in the West, but I am related to Jackson through my four times great-grand mother who was Jackson’s aunt. Keep the monument.

The caring depicts:
President Jefferson Davis,
General Robert E. Lee,
General Thomas J. “Stonewall” Jackson,
and their favorite horses:
“Blackjack”, “Traveler”, and “Little Sorrel”, respectively.

Liberals. Censorship. Go hand in hand. It is liberals that burn books. They would burn all Bibles if they could.

Booker T. Washington, Americas great Black-American Educator wrote in 1910, 'The first white people in America, certainly the first in the South to exhibit their interest in the reaching of the Negro and saving his soul through the medium of the Sunday-school were Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson."
He did say it, but it wasn't actually true. It's like saying that what famous people or politicians do incidentally for their causes counts for more than what less famous people who have devoted their whole lives do.

Does anyone else know that the mascot for the University of (Southern) California rides a horse named “Traveler”.

I think the opposition to this monument is racist. It isn’t enough for some blacks to get equality, they want revenge.

Sounds like the liberals want to do to Stone Mountain what the Taliban did to those Buddhist statures in Afghanistan.

Two of them are in my family tree. So, leave them alone. : ) I remember the first time I saw them was on my high school senior trip. It is awesome. Why do people stick their noses where they do not belong? Leave Stone Mountain alone.

I dont know what Jeff Davis horse was named.
Somebody says it was "Laughing Lady."
But "Lil' Traitor" might have been better.

Jefferson and wife Varina Davis adopted a Black child, Jim Limber Davis, in February 1864 and
Well...no he didn't.
But regardless, remove the carvings how? They going to level Stone Mountain?
