Barack Obama during his Tuesday press conference said once again that he wants to close the terrorist detention center at Guantanamo Bay.

NBC Tonight Show host Jay Leno offered the President some advice Tuesday saying, "He should do what he always does: declare it a small business and tax it out of existence":

I think NBC decided to kick Leno out when he made the joke about illegal immigrants being undocumented Democrats.

Leno is a Dem sycophant, so it is interesting to see this take on how zero handles “issues”.

Truth, no matter its source, is painful to zero and Leno used a joke to tell the truth!

I think Leno is one of those folks that knows in his heart that none of this stuff the left believes works. He just hasn't realized it yet. Dennis Miller thought he was left-of-center till 9/11 and that woke him up. A friend of mine and I saw him for years before that and said he's a conservative he just doesn't know it yet.

It's tough to swim against the prevailing currents. Look at what happens to people when the spend too much time in DC.

Leno makes his living poking fun at all politicians, regardless of party affiliation. However, in his private life, he is a big Dem and Obama supporter and that support has never waivered.

As for Miller, he DID have his epiphany around 9/11 and has since become a voice for conservatism.

I have heard rumblings that more of Hollyweird is conservative than they let on, but keep it to themselves for fear of losing work. I, for one, just don't believe it. Virtually every major "entertainer" today is a big time lib and have publicly stated their disdain for conservatives.

Unfortunately, too many conservatives are too willing to spend their hard earned money to keep Hollyweird going instead of making them go hungry. IMO, a few years of unemployment and reality would do wonders for the slime that pass for "entertainers".
