I don’t know that he’s all that incompetent. I think things are going exactly as he’s planned.
Thanks for saying that...sometimes I think he enjoys how jolted people get....it's really no skin off his nose and he knows it....he's got the wheel on this ship, and his crew will do as he asks...that's just how it is....so we should not let him jolt us...rather push back and focus there where and when we can.
Until we as a people are united, and press our representatives hard and consistent......he will not be stopped...and it is our representatives who are at fault for not doing their job!

I’ve had the lingering hunch that the ONLY thing that didn’t go according to plan about the Boston terrorists is that they got caught! Given all this background info, I strongly suspect the Administration WANTED them to attack and hoped they would provide a big enough “event” to justify immediate gun confiscation or worse.
