We have been told that this was a local home grown jihad plot.
There could be no possible (rational) reason even to consider sparing the scumbag’s life unless that were the only way to get valuable counter terrorism info.
BUT, if he actually does possess such info then it proves the administration LIES that,
(1). The plot was just the two brothers and their Internet bomb recipe,
(2) it made any sense at all to stop the brief FBI questioning and “Mirandize” the bastard.
The admin. Proves its dishonesty (yet again) by pursuing this effort to put aside the death penalty in this case.
Maybe, as time passes, they are learning more than they knew before? Would it be better if we were told the authorities just don’t one way or the other? What would everyone say about that?
I’ve been thinking about this for a while. The reality is the radical Obama/Holder regime is not going to execute any prisoners, even this one. Given a chance those people would repeal the death penalty, which they actually tried to do in Colorado. We should extract all the intel we can and find out about any accomplices. At least we would get something out of the deal.
