except for rim fire, I reload.

Not going to say how many primers, how much powder and bullets I have stored(not to mention buckets of lead alloy wheel weights....)...but enough for a while.

enough brass too....for like forever. the other stuff could eventually run out.

I started reloading just a few years back, I remember telling hunting buddies from Georgia that they'll never elect a blk communist. Friend told me all the kids in Ga just luved Big Ears and apparently, he was right. So I spent a couple thou on equipment and basic supplies, built that Hornady style bench, then in summer 2009; really stocked up; best thing I ever did. My grandkids won't want for ammo when the caribou show up; like I think many others will down the road.

Best thing, I started shooting way more, built my own range & heavy T-bench for the back porch, picked up a chrono, and just improved everything about my shooting. I haven't started casting my own, think about it, but to me, doesn't seem to be cost effective for quality hunting rounds and I don't think I will ever be outta supply. Vaq, if there's one place I have found that really is a boon to us reloaders, it's Shooters Pro. Check that one out.

All gun lovers & hunters/shooters should start reloading. They ain't gonna take the guns, they are gonna make the ammo hard to get & expensive; hand writing is on the wall.
