Same thing happened in Atlanta. They ran MARTA from downtown to the burbs and the next thing you know you have black gangs from the inner city smashing and looting the malls.
Didn’t help that they relocated Carver Homes and other projects to Clayton County for the Olympics. Wouldn’t want to make a bad impression and all. So instead, we created terror in the suburbs.
Our local mega mall became a haven for black gangbang types, and the stores started catering to black kids (which is a limited demographic regardless what MTV says) and TPTB got together changed the stores to white kid fashion and soccer momatopia type stores to go along with increased security and it had a bit of a revival. When it comes to money then PC can take a hit sometimes.
