Bush defended conservative policies and won— far more than Reagan did.

Glad I skipped your entire absurd post and just read the last line....validated that the rest of it would certainly be a fantasy, and a waste of time. I would be utterly ashamed to have the above comment attributed to me. Enjoy your "coming out" crush on Bush.

Skipping content would explain a lot with regard to your logic.

There is no coherent intellectual critique of Bush. When the same rules are applied to Reagan— Reagan’s mystique collapses.

That is not an attack on Reagan. Its an attack on the intellectual validity of the Bush attacks.

I think you can follow that.

I'm late to the party.

Bush certainly did some good things during his administration, I know you are aware of that.

I am presuming you are as ticked at him for his lack of defending conservative principles as I am. His silence in the face of the onslaught of leftist nonsensical criticism, and his unwillingness to articulate a conservative vision destroyed him, the GOP, and has left conservatives wandering in the wilderness.

I supported him, voted for him, but my son was in Iraq while he never lifted a finger to combat the viciousness of the left, and I'll never forgive him for that blunder. He went down hill in my eyes from there.

That said, I'd take him again in a heartbeat to replace Bambi......
