I’m not sure which is more dangerous: Flying over Syria, or flying in a Russian aircraft.

According to another article it was an Airbus A320.

Let’s see... chartered Russian aircraft, flying over Syria, shot at by 2 missiles AND missed (airliners carry counter-measures?). Sounds like someone had inside info that asshat assad was being given safe haven.
