Ain't that the sad truth!
I can recall a couple of notable examples. When Rep. Charles Diggs (D-Mich.), who represented a black district in Detroit, was forced out of Congress due to corruption charges that later sent him to prison, the voters replaced him with George Crockett, a hard-core Communist who had defended Communist Party leaders in the notorious Smith Act trial of 1949. And earlier, voters in a Harlem, NY district replaced the corrupt playboy Rep. Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. (D-Ny) with our dear friend Charlie Rangel.
“Black communities in America seem to gleefully elect thugs, idiots, racists and criminals to represent them, never caring what an negative representation of their communities these antisocials display to the rest of the nation.”
Ain’t that the sad truth!
They take pride in them,,,thats why they elect them over and over and over. They don’t view them as thugs, idiots, racists and criminals. They see them as standing up to whitey.
