So you don’t deny TX major population centers like Austin, Dallas and Houston are becoming *increasingly* liberal and more controlling with many becoming more govenrment dependent in these population centers.

It seems you’re making my point.

Nope, I don’t, because I reap early point out the broken corrolation between population and liberalism. You totally miss that we are already almost the same population as California yet nowhere near as liberal.

Something else that I know empirically that is happening in Texas that will not show up in snapshot demographics: liberals who move here can and do become more conservative over time. Not all, but some. And liberals who move here and raise their kids here have ended up with kids who were more conservative the they are.
