President Barack Obama will tap Charlotte mayor Anthony Foxx as the new secretary of transportation on Monday.
“President Barack Obama will tap Charlotte mayor Anthony Foxx “
Probably has...
LOL!!! Nominated for “LOL” post of the day!
Looks like TheHood won’t achieve his goal of tracking every movement of every vehicle - and the tolling people based on when they drove, where they drove, and what they drove.
Don’t know about this guy...but great to see TheHood gone.
What????? ;)
“Probably has...”

You rascal,you. :-)
.
Watch for lots of commuter trains and trolley cars from this guy..........He doesn’t think buses are as good as
a trolley system.
President Obama feels he doesn’t have enough “diversity” in his cabinet ... /s
Or gerbils....
Hetero Caucasians need not apply, no matter how well qualified.
The message here is pretty clear. Skippy has no need for the people making up half of our country.
Yeah, whatever.
The US is the henhouse.....
As someone who lives in Charlotte, He will be a disaster for them. Only picked due to the skin color. He was a joke here.
He woulda nominated Red Foxx if old Red were not dead.
And what, 3 years of mediocre experience as a mayor??
If confirmed by the Senate, Foxx would replace Ray LaHood, who said in January he wouldnt serve a second term. Foxx, first elected mayor in 2009, helped lead last summers Democratic National Convention in the Queen City.
He also championed the completion of an additional runway at the Charlotte/Douglas International Airport, though Foxx doesnt have any specific experience as a transportation executive.
OOOHHH! He helped with a piece of pavement a plane lands on....That is some good transpotatinanan....NO EXPERIENCE AS TRANS EXEC. SAME AS DUMBO!!!
Sub average...
IIRC, Those ideas were not his. The trolleys added “spice” to uptown. We have ONE commuter line now, others are planned, the blue line does okay I think. My son uses it.
As someone who lives outside Charlotte, I say, “Better luck next time, y’all.”
