The proper response- the only one that will work- is Crusades II and total eradication of Islam from this planet. Short of that, it goes on. Thousands of years haven’t changed this warrior death-cult. Like a little bit of cancer, you can’t ignore a cell of it.
It appears Pope Urban, to his credit, tried to stop the attacks on Jews. He really was worried about the attacks on Christians over there in the Middle East and it wasn't the Jews attacking Christians over there.
