I’d like the CATO or some other group to use the data and the standards of the late 70’s and 80’s to give us an apples to apples index for inflation and GDP.

The communist/socialist thugocracy has taken over communications, military, all federal bureaucracies, and any way of spreading legitimate information except the internet. With the control of Google it can limit search engines and data but eventually it links to what you want.

That's probably John Williams At ShadowStats

He calculates inflation, unemployment and etc the same as it was calculated when Bill Clinton was president.

Seeing that the BEA is going back and adjusting the data under the new methodology back to 1929, that might not be necessary. Funny how Schiff skewers the government for wanting to boost the number for political purposes (as probably is true), but neglects to mention how it did so for his own personal financial reasons (more CNBC appearances and newsletter subscriptions, or however he makes money from the rubes nowadays).
