A 22-year-old Maywood woman admitted she and her boyfriend beat her 1-year-old son with a belt and plastic hangers and left him to die on their bathroom floor, prosecutors said in court Saturday.
The couple then disposed of the child's lifeless body in a backpack before devising an elaborate cover-up which included pretending that the child had been abducted, prosecutors alleged in court.
A Cook County judge ordered Lakeshia Baker, 22, held without bail.

I cannot compare these two to animals. Animals are more civilized.

How would the “academics” say it? “You can tell a lot about a society from the way it treats its children.” We murder them in the womb. Just out of the womb and keep murdering them until they are big enough to fight back.

If that’s the actual headline that appeared in the Tribune, it is dead on wrong. My grandmothers, my mother, my wife, my daughter-in-law, lots of other good women throughout the world are “moms”. I can assure you from in depth analysis of less than 30 seconds that that piece of s#it is nobody’s definition of a mom.

The photos are indeed telling. Those two black eyes might be one heck of a lot worse and that punk with the curls might look a bit balder as well. There is no room in this world for animals like that.
The two people who did this were the parents of the child, I take it.
If a male lion or even a monkey kills the progeny of another male he’s doing it so that his own offspring will take their place. (Just as little children are often the victims of the mother’s boyfriend, who isn’t the father, btw.)
I can’t think of any animal parents, where both the male and female kill their own offspring.
I was undr the impression the couple were the parents, but now I see she had two children and the boyfriend was the father of neither -
Scott, who is not the father of either child in the household, told authorities that Baker regularly beat the child and that it sometimes embarrassed him when friends were over. He said he never did anything to prevent the beatings, prosecutors said.
Wait a minute. If the child was less than one year old, isn’t it still covered by the “Gosnell rule”, still eligible for abortion.
And I’m sure Obama’s words to the couple would be “God Bless You”

Why in the world would you think that, or that she even knows who the father is?
Of course, some of the townspeople will build a little, temporary shrine for the little boy.....it is a cultural thing and they get a lot of practice but no permanent and positive benefits result from the ritual.
I had a dog once that ate it’s puppies. I shot it.
