Megyn Kelly reported Friday that the bombs used in the Boston Marathon attacks had to be detonated via a line of sight trigger mechanism. According to federal officials this could mean there was a 3rd bomber or accomplice who may have been involved in the attacks. The range of remote control parts is within at least 250 yards or less. The remote control parts are also NOT a part of Al Qaedas Inspire magazine instructions.
Federal investigators now believe a third terrorist could have been involved in the attacks.

Thanks, someone else had said the same that they did not test these.
I was taking the number Beck was speaking of, the 15,000 that he was told of...our of 75,000, I will have go back and listen to what the time frame was for all those to flood in here.
You are sadly correct, I watch over my shoulder all the time now...this is a different world and I feel like I’m living in a nightmare that just keeps repeating. I swear, I’ve had this dream before.
Who the he** is running our immigration dept?
One must assume the Hanover PD investigated, and, if there were pressure cooker parts or other similarities to the Marathon bombs, we would have heard about it by now.
Katherine Russell aka Mrs. Black Cap) wearing a backpack,
Interesting. The only description given was that they appeared home made. They couldn’t find anything else, as in the famous junk flying around the marathon? Odd
Things that make you go ‘hmmmmmmm’....
In addition to the articles above, this one is from the Boston Globe:
Indeed, Hanover is just south of Boston.. about 1/3 of the way between Boston & UMass Dartmouth where the younger bomber was going to school.
Yes! I do recall articles with those tweets. Thanks for finding them. These tweets are probably the source of the comments at the Patch.
Hanover and State police may not make public all they know. They may even issue disinfo to smoke out any accomplices.

Travis, you’re absolutely right. It IS a disgrace. But here’s the thing (And I’m speaking as a guy with over a decade in professional print and internet media)....
The MSM continues to exist because it gets advertisers. The more reader/viewership an outlet has, the more they can charge for ads. I’m sure you know this but bear with me.
The very same people who come to conservative sites on the web and rightly complain about gay marriage and PCBS will run to the tube on Sunday to watch the NFL shove it down their throats. Their football fix is more important to them than ‘voting’ with their cable dollars and canceling their sub. Same for Duck Dynasty, American Idol or any other show.
People make excuses for this behavior all the time...the say one thing and do another thing that they bitch about in libs and politicians. Yet they have no issue when they themselves do it. But they have the one superextraspecial reason to do it that allows them to lie convincingly to their conscience.
The one show Joe X watches and justified with his cable dollars...well his cable cash goes and funds Glee and every other gay show. It goes and funds the MSM news channels that convince the world that Joe is an inbred Bible thumper who is responsible for abusing and bullying Muslims and puppies.
Joe buys newspapers who do the same and pats himself on the back for his thrifty ways clipping coupons. Of course the people who bought those coupon pages are also helping to fund the spread of leftist propaganda in said paper, so Joe cuts his throat in yet another way.
This could go on for days. The examples of self inflicted suicide are legion. But the bottom line comes down to this. People can have an impact by careful use of their spending power. But they refuse to. Because they do not think 2 inches ahead of the nose on their face.
The right is every bit as materialistic as the left. Until that changes, no one should be surprised at having a fully funded MSM to fight against.
keeper bfl thanks penelope
Along with that thinking, we (the collective, conservative ‘we’) have to build a conservative media system to offset what is in place.
We have one. Talk radio, the internet and sites like FR. It is not used to anywhere near potential when guys like Beck do tear show theatrics and Levin calls Rubio a ‘good Conservative’.
Someone needs to explain to me how it is that Sarah Palin can drive days of media stories with a single facebook post but the supposed opposition party to Obama can’t use its own YouTube channel to circumvent the MSM.
Folks, THINK.
Thank you, Ray76. It has been enlightening.

From your link:
Several unexploded devices were found at the scene and later detonated under secure conditions by the State Police Bomb Squad.
That's key. Unexploded devices are gold for an investigator. They were what solved the Madrid bombings. The question is, did they at all resemble the Marathon or Watertown bombs? Did they have anything in common with what was supposedly retrieved from Joker's dorm room at UMass Dartmouth?
The guy on the roof? He would likely have had line-of-sight to both devices with minimal interference from anything at ground level.
I agree we have the tools. We just don’t have the foot soldiers willing to do the grunt work. Lots of folks, at FRee Republic and other conservative sites spend jillions of man-hours writing and talking to one another.
Turn those man-hours into citizen journalism (similar to the Breitbart model), and we have a viable system.
Thanks. Deductive reasoning would point to those two. I don’t believe there are coincidences in life. Just damn
Anyone recognize the electronics found inside the Boston bombs?

That photo should be posted with a warning. Ugh!!
People do do that. And are often mocked by their own side for it. But yes, it needs to be done more.
