Airplane Debris Found Near World Trade Center Site

Land surveyors working just north of the former World Trade Center site have discovered a piece of an airplane’s landing gear, apparently from one of the two planes that crashed into the twin towers more than 11 years ago, the police said on Friday.

The part was found at the same building where the muslims were going to build a mosque. I'm so glad that didn't happen because now we now that building isn't just near Ground Zero...it's a part of it.

Apparently the WTC buildings acted as a diffraction gate for the steel (and similar or higher density (W, Ti, etc.) alloy) parts.

I get to Manhattan fairly often and when I do I always go to Ground Zero mainly to see the site and also to hit a great electronics store nearby.When there I always get a picture in my mind of the people,the smoke and the debris of that day...and after.It's particularly spooky passing by that Episcopal Church right across the street where,I've read,pieces of the towers landed on the grounds but just missed the church structure itself.

Yes, this is the same building where the "Park51" Islamic center is being built. Very spooky indeed.

As far as I know, portions of it are already opened and the rest of the building is under construction. It is 1 block away from the future WTC site.

Weird day in NYC. They found part of one of the 911 planes at the Ground Zero mosque, where it sat unnoticed for 12 years??

On the same day, somebody found a giant 6 foot tall human head (styrofoam) floating in the Hudson River.

You know what all this means? No? Me neither.
