The mother didn’t know his age, name or who he was! So being 17 had nothing to do with the mother killing him.
I wasn’t posting to you, smart ass.
You DID read that this was New Orleans, right ?
I’m guessing your daughters had very few second dates.
Wise reasoning all around.
Yes, but I’d responded to her, so it was kind of a group discussion, I thought.
You’re correct, I was confused.
LOL
That's a daddy job.

When I was 17 I took my 14 year old girlfriend to a late night movie. She snuck out of the house, we went to the movies, and that’s it - I swear, and sneaked back to her house. If her dad had caught me driving her from or to their house, I bet he would have shot me even if he knew exactly who I was!
My point was that someone seemed surprised that 17 year olds could have girlfriends two or three year their juniors.
Happens to me all the time.
A high school friend of mine was found naked hiding in a bedroom closet by his girlfriend’s mother. She was mad but she did not stab him.
Oh, yeah. He was actually pretty bright but absolutely zero common sense, your classic nerd. I wound up marrying a fellow with considerably more common sense. Better looking, too. (What girl wouldn’t love a GA Tech chemistry major who worked part-time for a fireworks company?) :-)
Another “Goot boy”..Messing with a child
That sounds like the kind of job Tom would like.
While I understand the mother’s feelings and reaction, I don’t agree that 15 is too young...the writer Laura Ingalls Wilder was married at fifteen. It was common for young women of 15 and 16 to get married throughout history.
How old was the boy how old was the girl.that is relavent
Ok, I forgot what kind he had...
Well, I am glad to see I am not the only Dad that did this to his daughter’s boyfriend. My Daughters boyfriend, about 16 or so at the time, thought he could sneak into her bedroom window. My wife heard him, I grabbed a gun(lots of them lying around at the time)and headed in there, luckily I recognized him and merely threw him back out of the window and told my daughter to get a new boyfriend, he wasn’t welcome any longer. She did. I don’t know if he pissed his pants but he was scratched up a bit after I tossed him out of the window.
Sorry. I thought he was 25 or something. I retract my previous. I misread.
