I just finished serving on a jury in SoCal.
They summons anyone who has a CA drivers license. Citizen or not. You have to swear you are a citizen..so you could lie and serve now. They also don’t ever ask you to verify you are the person on the summons. No ID is asked during the process...so I guess we could have non-citizens and illegals serving now.
I just got dismissed from jury duty because I live 4 miles over the county line!

In TN, in the past when I’ve been called to Grand Jury duty, they picked from the voter registration lists and I had to show my TN driver’s license to go inside the holding room. But we’re in Tennessee, not on the left coast of islamerica.
