My husband and I were recently on a long driving trip (CT to Florida and back again), and took a look at the Bluffton and Beaufort, SC areas. Also saw a bit of Charlotte on the way down.
There's a reason things are so new there... those areas are BOOMING, as opposed to CT, NY, MA, and other deep blue northeastern states, where people - and businesses - are leaving in droves. Saw lots of U-Haul trucks with NY plates heading South on our way down (God help y'all).
I heard NC is looking at abolishing its state income tax... that'll make NC a lot more attractive to us. And kudos to the people of NC for voting NO on gay marriage. That made me take a second look at NC, when we assumed it was going to the dark blue side a few years ago...
Kudos and a shout out to Matt Drudge. He currently has, as his main headline (at least on mobile version) Dear Leader’s Planned Parenthood’s screed. And atop the link, Drudge has up a three or four month in uetero photo of a pre born BABY. Well done, Matt, well done!
