??? It’s the same company that supplies my internet and land-line? Just like anything else, if I don’t like or want to view a program, I change the channel or turn it off.

Are you one of the people bitching about the programming on cable? If you’re not then you don’t have a problem. I don’t tjink its any more complicated than that.
