UPDATED: The A&E reality series outperforms all of Wednesday's cable and broadcast series in the targeted adults 18-49 demo --- and pulls in nearly 10 million total viewers.
Duck Dynasty shows no signs of slowing. The A&E series' season finale drew a record 9.6 million viewers during its one-hour episode -- and an equally impressive 5.5 million adults 18-49.
That haul in the key demo puts it ahead of all of cable and broadcast offerings for the night -- including American Idol. Duck Dynasty's 4.3 rating with adults 18-49 rating tops the preliminary showing for Idol (3.2 rating) by 34 percent.

Best show on TV and one of the few reasons I still have a TV!
Hopefully it will blow away Dancing With The Stars if it hasn't already!
When they promoed the season finale of them going to Hawaii, I wasn’t too excited. Watched it. It was GREAT!
I just got hooked on this show last Saturday.
Look, TV shows like Duck Dynasty, Pawn Stars, The Bible, American Pickers, the Military channel, the History channel, Fox News Channel, etc. are blowing regular TV away. Why??? They all bring back old, tried & true family, patriot and religious values. Obama, etc. is now passe. America is sick of the Obamas, Beyonce , JayZ, Hollywoood ego maniacs, etc. Why??? Boring and uselss human beings with no substance, character and leadership skills!!!
Real America wins over leftist fantasyland, who knew.
He’s my fav....They kinda remind me of Ronnie Van Zant/Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Zac Brown Band “Fox On The Run” Live!
Phil Robertson brother of Si and Patriarch played first string quarterback at Louisiana Tech and was drafted into the NFL; but turned it down.
My TV these days is strictly shows like Swamp People, Duck Dynasty, Deadliest Catch, Pawn Stars, American Pickers, American Restoration, Cajun Pawn Stars, Alaska Wild Frontier, Yukon Men, and shows along that line. I stopped watching all of ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX TV shows years ago.
Many years ago TV Land and Nick at Night had some good older shows. But not in the past decade or so though. Even cartoon network is a bust.
Any one notice that this season seems so short? I seem to recall that every week they had 2, 30 minute episodes, lately only 1. Have you heard about the contract talks with A and E, I understand the Robertson’s want more money and A and E is balking.
Duck Dynasty Tea -
Si Sweet ... $3 gal.
Sometimes I can catch up later via the net or our home cable on demand service.
As for TVland I totally agree. If I'm not busy in the afternoon I have Gunsmoke or Bonanza reruns on. One of my favortie shows of all time is Green Acres but it hasn't been on for quite a while.
The only other thing I enjoy is our local harness racing live from The Meadows track south of Pittsburgh. I don't bet but I like to watch the ponies run plus it's live and local.
Ha! That is EXACTLY the lineup that Mr sneakers and I watch! Another show that we like is “Larry the Cable Guy; Only in America”. It starts up again in May!
Yea Green Acres will always be a favorite of mine. The house reminded me of my first house after I got out of the Navy. It was an old log cabin with a wood frame addition for two bedrooms. Dysfunctional wiring, pipes, and not a squared room in the house LOL. I had a picture window in the living room it too was way out of square LOL. But it was home.
