Judges just don’t wander into hospital rooms and read patients their rights. Since when do Judges read people their rights? Isn’t it the responsibility of the arresting officer, of someone in law enforcement - I.e., FBI?

That's a thought too. I've seen enough "Dragnet 1967/70" and "Adam-12" to know that's what they usually do.
