I don't understand where this 48 hour "exception" comes from. Can someone explain that? We have been repeatedly assured these two guys acted alone and there is no danger of more bombs.

This guy is a US citizen. Anything he says without being Mirandized is inadmissible in court. Am I missing something?

Apparently, hussein and holder promised them 48 hours of questions. They lied.

It's a national security exception. They were trying to find out if there were other bombs about to go off or if he knew about imminent plots. Saving lives now is more importtant than losing a portion of the evidence against him--there is plenty of other evidence.

Plus Obama will pardon him when he's leaving office, on orders from the Saudis.

It was part of the Patriot Act enacted after 911 that gave us DHS and TSA. It was tested in the SCOTUS and won but the Justices entered something that the time limitation was not definable but for some reason I think the ruling said something about 48 hours. The problem with this case is he was incapable of communicating for most of the 48 hours and that condition was not defined in the ruling.

The bottom line is the Obama Administration looks to have pulled the trigger on shutting him up as soon as they possibly could.
