right now, I'd feel safer in a golf cart..
I had an electric (6 batteries) golf cart to get older customers around the Family Farm Business, and it was fun until it ran-down; then it was a long walk back to the office to get my Jeep to tow it back. Heh.
Unless it’s for city driving only, I don’t think all-electric vehicles will ever catch-on. OTOH, the combo-motor/engine still have 3-5yrs of R&D ahead, and batteries another 6-8yrs of R&D to go. JMO.
But if Ford did unveil one, I’d be more inclined to think they’d done the requisite R&D, and it’d work just fine. I’d probably buy one, too, after a year or two (I never buy a 1st yr model) of road tests and customer reviews.
