full title.....Wife of 'Boston bomber' was arrested for shoplifting from clothes store - years before his mother was hit with similar charges

Katherine Russell, the widow of suspected Boston bomber Tamerlan Tsraneav, has a criminal record and is a confessed shoplifter, MailOnline can reveal.

A police report obtained by MailOnline reveals that the 25-year-old Islamic convert was arrested in 2007 for stealing $67 worth of clothing from an Old Navy store in Warwick, Rhode Island.

And in an intriguing twist, Russell, who was 18 at the time, told officers she was married though she was living at parent’s North Kingstown home and did not meet Tsranaev until some two years later.

I've been following this woman's comments from the get go....her story changes as to what was said between them...and pretty much everything else...basically she is trying hard to portray a loving and close relationship with her sons...and it gets more endearing as reporters interview her and she ‘enlarges’ this endearment..

I don't believe her....all she is saying now is “drama” and the spotlight...and I believe she is quite unstable, and that not because of her sons death. Rather her “Honor” as Mother to these two is being subject to criticism....she knows she encouraged her eldest son to go deeper into Islam when he was having difficulties.....and she herself was going deeper...as said before one of the reasons the father split was how this family had changed and would not listen to reason.....

This woman is covering big-time! and it's all about her.

The following stated continues to show she's protecting herself IMO.

“During our last conversation on the morning [before the shootout], he was especially touching and tender and alarmed at the same time.

“He said he got a private phone call from [the FBI] and said that they told him he was under suspicion and should come see them.”

The last words Tamerlan told her before he hung up the phone was, “If you need me, you will find me.”

Interesing that we have to rely on British journalism to do the job US papers either won’t do or are incapable of doing.

Generally true. However, a certain US paper has the actual arrest reports:

Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide
No escape from reality
Open your eyes
Look up to the skies and see
I’m just a poor boy, I need no sympathy
Because I’m easy come, easy go
A little high, little low
Anyway the wind blows, doesn’t really matter to me, to me

Mama, just killed a man
Put a gun against his head
Pulled my trigger, now he’s dead
Mama, life had just begun
But now I’ve gone and thrown it all away
Mama, ooo
Didn’t mean to make you cry
If I’m not back again this time tomorrow
Carry on, carry on, as if nothing really matters

Too late, my time has come
Sends shivers down my spine
Body’s aching all the time
Goodbye everybody - I’ve got to go
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth
Mama, ooo - (anyway the wind blows)
I don’t want to die
I sometimes wish I’d never been born at all

I see a little silhouetto of a man
Scaramouch, scaramouch will you do the fandango
Thunderbolt and lightning - very very frightening me
Gallileo, Gallileo,
Gallileo, Gallileo,
Gallileo Figaro - magnifico

But I’m just a poor boy and nobody loves me
He’s just a poor boy from a poor family
Spare him his life from this monstrosity
Easy come easy go - will you let me go
Bismillah! No - we will not let you go - let him go
Bismillah! We will not let you go - let him go
Bismillah! We will not let you go - let me go
Will not let you go - let me go (never)
Never let you go - let me go
Never let me go - ooo
No, no, no, no, no, no, no -
Oh mama mia, mama mia, mama mia let me go
Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me
for me
for me

So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye
So you think you can love me and leave me to die
Oh baby - can’t do this to me baby
Just gotta get out - just gotta get right outta here

Ooh yeah, ooh yeah
Nothing really matters
Anyone can see
Nothing really matters - nothing really matters to me

Anyway the wind blows...

I have no doubt the mother encouraged her sons to seek a deeper interest into Islam.

She said very early on when reporters were first speaking to her, and before she realized she might be implicated... that her son was having difficulties, no job etc. so she encouraged him to go deeper into Islam...as she had also begun doing. Which was one of the marital difficulties the father was having with his family...they were out of his ontrol..he booged back to Russia.

This woman is not at all innocent in this matter for “HER influence over her older son. However...he alone made the decision at 26 years old.

The common translation for bismillah is “In the name of Allah”

Interesting, no?

The composer, Freddy Mercury, was raised in the Zoroastrian religion, an ancient Iranian multi-theistic religion which pre-dated Islam. The word floated downstream into Islam, apparently; but certainly Mercury's life was anything but muslim or even religious. His parents buried him in a Zoroastrian ceremony; so I wouldn't think the word indicated anything from him other than a long-held cultural artifact he remembered from childhood.

They’ve got it all wrong! She wasn’t a “shoplifter” - she was just an “undocumented customer.”
