Comparing personnel decisions made regarding a priest and a lay employee of another faith would seem logically to involve a double standard.

She wasn't fired for being Methodist. Are you saying the double standard is justified because one if Catholic and one is not?

I'm saying the Catholic Church obviously has different personnel rules for priests and lay people.

I'm not sure why that surprises you.

With an unmarried women, of her age, looking like she did, the school likely knew of her orientation for years, but until she made it public, they weren't compelled to act.
