I gave up modeling for God
New York Post ^ | April 24, 2013 | Kate Storey

Kylie Bisutti, 23, saw her dream come true when she beat 10,000 other girls in the 2009 Victoria’s Secret Angel Search competition. In her forthcoming book, “I’m No Angel,” she reveals why she gave up a multimillion-dollar career for the quiet life in Montana. She tells The Post’s Kate Storey her tale:

I’m lying on a bed wearing a tight, little T-shirt and boy-cut panty bottoms while camera flashes keep popping away. I’m giving the camera that seductive, bombshell look I’d become famous for.

“Pull the top further up,” the FHM photographer encouraged me. “Hold up the covers like you don’t have any panties on.”

Quote from the story: "Today, I’m focused on creating a Christian clothing line, speaking tours and my blog, imnoangel.org. My clothing line comes out next month, and it will feature models of all shapes and sizes promoting our modest clothes. I want girls to see people who look like them, so they feel good about themselves."

The young woman obviously has a nice entrepreneurial spirit. I hope she does well and succeeds.

It’s polite to ping people when you mention them.

I gave up modeling because I’m ugly. All I ever wanted was to be treated like a piece of meat.
And this girl has it handed to her with a bow and she throws it away! Hmmm

Agreed. There’s a certain credit card I will never possess or use for my business as the company uses the ignorant loud mouth bas**** as its spokesperson.

Thank you for correcting my lamentable oversight.

Turns out, though, that is was the late CAPT Borodin who wanted to go to Montana.

That’s when it hit me. I was being paid to strip down and pose provocatively to titillate men.

I don't know about anyone else, but I always read the Victoria's Secret catalogs for the articles. Oh, wait a minute ... that's another publication I'm thinking about. Never mind.

You've obviously never watched Event Horizon...

Many, many years ago, I worked for a competitor to VS.

We were required to watch the VS fashion shows. Market research, you know.

Sigh. That was an excellent job. :-)

Point taken. Never bothered to watch it. Sometimes there's just so much any actor can do with a lousy script, idiotic plot, and/or bad direction and editing.

Have to say, though, that there are a few actors who never fail and steal every scene they're in. Robert Duvall is the first one who comes to mind for me. Baldwin just causes imagination to wander into punching his booze induced puff faced lights out.
