In fairness, HRH Obama and his wife were not invited to Mrs. Thatcher’s funeral. There is a reason for that, I’m sure. They are not on the British “A” list, perhaps.

The reason for that is Maggie refused a State funeral, where all heads of state or their designees would HAVE to attend.
This way, it was invitation-only, preventing the WH scum from messing up the pictures AND ambience.

I'm not sure where you heard that but according to the Communist News Network he was (and they never get it wrong. :-P).

All former U.S. presidents and first ladies, along with President Barack Obama and wife Michelle, were invited to Thatcher's funeral, though Obama's official schedule has him remaining in Washington on Wednesday.
