Cruz said he hoped the reform legislation will not be held hostage to an issue that is deeply, deeply divisive, namely a pathway to citizenship. He said it was his hope that Congress could pass a bipartisan bill addressing areas of common agreement like securing the border, improving legal immigration, improving agricultural workers to ensure that we have workers who are here out of the shadows, able to work legally.
Anything that indicates that entering,or remaining in,the US in violation of Federal law is anything less than a serious felony is a danger to the nation.
Of course what Cruz is advocating is harmful. He’s looking to legalize tens of millions of illegals. That’s bad and hugely expensive for our country and it will inevitably end up with them becoming citizens and registered Democrat voters.
It’s clear: no Texas pol dares oppose what is essentially the Hispanicization of the country.
