A startling home-made video now shows the terrifying moments where Watertown residents were forced out of their homes at gunpoint as SWAT teams performed door-to-door searches as they hunted the second marathon bomber. While millions of Bostonians waited in their houses on Friday during the city-wide lockdown, the people of Watertown were faced with SWAT officers yelling at them to get out of the buildings immediately. At the time, the Boston police department and federal agents were barely criticized, but now many are concerned about the dangerous precedent that could lead to more police searches using the rationale of exigent circumstances as an excuse.

So, your answer is to once again slam my membership in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) ~ take your own koolaid and stuff it.
you bigots make me sick.
In Virginia this wouldn't have been needed. The first homeowner in this very heavily armed neck of the woods would have shot him to death!

“You just made my day.”
I am sure that there are lawsuits coming down the pipe against the WPD, State Police, FBI and ATFE for illegal search and seizure.

Ack. How did you get bigot from my word in describing my differences to your views as used by my word; reasoning. Never mind, bye.

well said. As I read your post what jumps out is how much liberalism is to blame for an inevitable police type state with accompanied increased surveillance, increased checks at airports etc Since their idealogy won’t allow them to single out and defend against any potential voter groups, e.g. illegals, felons, muslim extremists, etc then everyone has to equally suffer.
An important point in your post is that this could happen not necessarily by design but as a result of all their failures to reign in lawlessness

Let me ask you a question look at this picture and tell me who this people are more scared of, the terrorist on the lose or the cops with machine guns at their door?
As much as I think this was BS I have to admit these guys were so juiced up I would be afraid for my family and GOD knows what they would have put you through if you stood on your rights and said no you can't enter my home without a warrant.

Good question. To my eye, the family looks pretty calm except for the little girl, who still doesn’t appear to be exactly terrified.

Someone got a suggestion of a good ophthalmologist?
Like I said it seems that all these law enforcement agencies, with all their training, expertise, experience and knowledge and all that they could come up with was a plan that required them to break their first oath and duty: To defend and support the Constitution of the United States of America"and people seem more than willing to not only accept that but defend it as well.

I still don't know how you can simultaneously advocate "innocent until proven guilty" AND allow police to lie to a suspect in pursuit of incriminating evidence. If you're intentionally feeding them false information to get an admission of guilt, you HAVE to be assuming they are guilty in the first place.

I’ve now seen a number of videos of idiot cops pointing guns at people, busting into homes, taking people out of homes. This wasn’t “Shelter In Place”, this was Martial law.

“We are not under any obligation to afford mad dog bombers on the lam a fair chance to escape. “
They had both bombers surrounded. Their incompetence got a cop killed, a bomber killed, another cop critically wounded, and one bomber got away. Idiots.

Good point, and remember those teams came from all over Massachusetts, leaving their own cities thinly protected.
